Hello friends! Katy here and as I may have mentioned in my last post, I am taking full advantage of Christmas in July with another set of five holiday cards using the Deer Dad Silhouette Stamp and Stencil Set along with the Wrapped Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set from Maker Forte.
I used 3 ink colors to create the blended panels. Color Hive Ink in Neon Lights, Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and Black Soot Distress Ink. I used the Remarkable Eclipse Black Ink from Maker Forte to do my silhouette stamping and then all the sentiments were stamped using Color Hive Ink in Telephone Box. To get the deep beautiful Christmas Red that Telephone box offers I stamped anywhere between three and six times depending on the sentiment. To achieve the splatter I used some All Purpose Ink in Frost White and White with a fan brush.
All the details are in the video tutorial below. If you have trouble watching here on the blog, click here to watch on Youtube.
Here are some up close photos of each of the cards with the products used listed at the bottom of the post. Please Note, affiliate links have been used at no cost to you.
