Hello friends!

I’m excited to share the January 2025 Stitched Die of the Month, featuring a beautiful stitched frame and lovely ladybug plus several sentiment dies.

I added a foiled vellum backdrop and created some texture with a 3D embossing folder.

Happy New Year!

I am so excited to share January’s wax seal of the month for Spellbinders, a beautiful oval rose!

I created a very soft and elegant thanks card with some blind letter pressing that lends itself to wedding and anniversary cards as well. I think this type of design compliments wax seals so well.

Hello friends!
I’ve got more projects for you. This time I am using Betterpress Plates, specifically the new Florals Through The Year by @teamspellbinders

I did something a little different, I used my stamp positioner!

I wrote a blog post explaining how to do it, including some tips, but I will have a video very soon sharing this technique.

This is a great way to use press plates without having to invest in a BetterPress System.

Hello friends! I have no video for you today 😬 but a blog post instead. 🤗

I have been playin with a few of the Felt Stitched Dies from @teamspellbinders and @nicholspohr

I have zero stitching experience so this was way out of my comfort zone, but I loved it!

It was very meditative and I plan to do more. As you can see from my Snowy Owl, I’ve got some practicing to do…haha
I am looking forward to getting more felt and trying again. In the mean time I will practice with cardstock!

Since my stitching wasn’t the best I decided to pull out the glue and glue the Candy Cane and Gingerbread felt die cuts. As you can see in the photos the holes are barely visible, so for my non stitcher friends you can create with them too!

I created cards with the candy cane and gingerbread, keeping Gingy simple with some shimmer grey cardstock and some copper/bronze splatter for the crumbs. The sentiment I did up on my Cricut.

The Candy Cane I used the Argyle Plaid 3D embossing folder on Brushed White cardstock, and hot foiled the merry christmas sentiment from the mini christmas sentiment strips glimmer plate set with matte gold foil, all from @teamspellbinders I matted with mirror gold cardstock under the sentiment and on the sides of the card panel.

I love how these all turned out!

Hello Friends!

I am excited to be back sharing a cute project featuring new product from teamspellbinders
Rocky The Dancin’ Yeti from the Monster Friends Collection.

Rocky instantly took me back to the Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer movie where the abominable snowman put the star on top of the Christmas tree.

I was hoping for a bit more of a scene, but Rocky’s a big guy! Hahaha

So I opted for a simple scene, and I think he is just the cutest, with so much more potential!

I’ve got lots happening in the video, ink blending, hot foiling, dry embossing and I test out a new to me hot pressed watercolor paper for ink blending. So be sure and watch the video for all the details!

Today’s video marks a new way of creating for me. My videos will be longer and not sped up and no voiceovers, think of them as recorded lives without the meet and greets that I know many don’t care for.

Creating this way will help me be able to share more frequently and allow my videos to be more learning and beginner friendly. For those that are seasoned crafters and would rather have a faster paced video, YouTube has settings to speed up the videos if you so choose.

It has been a long year and a half caring for my mother-in-law and setting up routines for her care as her dementia journey continues. Creating my content this way will help me have the self care I need to recharge myself to provide her with the best care. I hope you understand. Please know I appreciate your support over this last year and half as I work through all this. Thank you ❤️

I promise posts won’t be this long going forward…hahaha I think as creators we feel the need to explain so people understand whats happening in our lives.

The summit has been a god send because deadlines are spaced out and able to accommodate our situation. For those that don’t know I care for my MIL who has dementia and lives with us. It is a struggle most days so I appreciate y’alls patience as I navigate caring for her and crafting time for me.
