Hello friends!
I hope this post finds you well. I have a couple cards featuring Spellbinders April Clubs.
Lets start with the Wax Seal Club.
I just love the Wax Seal this month and if you love florals and postage stamps, this one’s for you! But Act quick and grab it before the end of the month and remember, you get early buying access to May new arrivals and a 10% discount.

I kept this design simple, using the Thank You Four Petals die set and an ivory pearl cardstock I cut all the floral elements out and pieced them together.
The background was made using an ink swiping technique in this video. This video is only for the background, but the design of the card in the video is very similar to the one I created today.
I used a different floral die and sentiment in the video and for this design I added the new Scribbled Letter embossing folder from Dina Wakley. I just love anything script, stamps, folders and press plates!
I made a couple panels and thought I would use one in this card design as well. I also had a sympathy hot foil sentiment and a crimped frame die from Spellbinders in my stash so I incorporated those to save some time.
The wax seal for this month is so pretty, florals and postage stamp combined š I used a rose pink wax from my stash and added some Nuvo Dream Drops to the centers. Very subtle.
Simple design and I love it!
Next up is the Stitched die of the month!

This months stitched die is a sheet of note paper. It has the main frame with the spiral torn paper at the top which is one die, so you can use only that if you like (see upper right corner) and then you have the lined paper die which scores the lines and die cuts the holes on the sides and top and bottom so you can add some thread to create the lines. You also get the 5 sentiments and the cut out. A great overall die set with lots of options for design.
The background is letter pressed with Spruce Versafine Clair ink using a floral image from the BetterPress Society.
Here is a bit of info on the BetterPress Society in case you don’t know.
BetterPress Society is a monthly subscription of exclusive BetterPress plates designed for independent retailers.Ā Each month, society members will receive a new press plate that isnāt available anywhere else, as well as project inspiration and images. Monthly kits are available for pre-order and purchase if they have not sold out. Join Spellbinder’s BetterPress Society Facebook Group here
I do not subscribe to the BetterPress Society, If they are available after they are announced and I want it, I will buy. I don’t want to be committed incase I don’t like it.
As you can see in the photo, I tried a couple different colored cardstocks for the sentiments. I didn’t like them because they were hard to read. So I used some Fog cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. Spellbinders has this as well. The thread is metallic thread from DCM.

And that’s a wrap! I hope this inspires you to pull out your wax seals and stitched dies and start creating. If you are still on the fence, nows a great time to subscribe to any of the clubs Spellbinders offers.
Also, Spellbinders is having their BOGO sale on their dies, so be sure and take advantage of that too!
Thanks so much for joining me today and I will be back real soon with more inspiration.
Katy
